THIRD DISTRICT – State Senator Kelly Morrison (DFL-SD45) today announced that she has raised more than $400,000 in just seven weeks for her MN-03 congressional campaign.
Morrison raised $404,747 in the fourth quarter of 2023, and 93% of her contributions came from Minnesota residents. The campaign has more than $300,000 cash on hand. Morrison entered the race on November 9th, nearly halfway through the fundraising quarter, which ended on December 31st.
“These numbers show the strength of Kelly’s support in Minnesota. Given that she entered this race halfway through the fundraising quarter, this level of immediate enthusiasm is all the more impressive,” said Morrison’s campaign manager, Megan Hondl. “As we enter 2024, our campaign will continue to grow momentum and put in place a strong grassroots operation that will set us up to win in November.”
Since announcing her campaign, Morrison has been endorsed by more than 30 leaders and organizations in MN-03 and across the state, including Governor Mark Dayton, former WCCO anchor Don Shelby, Women Winning, the mayors of Eden Prairie, Edina, Wayzata, and Medina, and more than 20 state legislators.
